Deven Smith '17 Recruiting Profile

I have been involved in multi sports since the age of 8.  I have learned a lot, but realize that I still have more to learn and accomplish.  I spend many hours in the weight room and on the field after practice to better prepare myself, so I can reach my life long goal of playing at the collegiate level.
I'm willing to be a team leader and work hard to set an example for fellow team mates.  I feel that I am very coachable and am willing to do whatever is asked of me in order to succeed as a player and as a team.  I want to be able to get a college degree while playing the sport that I love.  This year I have played football, basketball, track, and baseball.  I maintain good grades with my busy schedule of playing more than one sport.  Academics is very important to me and I feel that a degree is a must to succeed in life after sports.
