Personal Statement
Playing on the varsity team my Sophomore year and going to the playoffs was the best feeling as a sophomore. Our school hadn't been to the playoffs in several years and it was exciting. Although we did not win that season, being able to learn from that group of Seniors was immeasurable. I learned the value of teamwork and how important it is to the success of any team.
This past season was pretty exciting as well. Winning the 2016 Hit Man Award for the season was one of the many highlights of the season for me. Realizing that with hard work and dedication anything is possible.
Taking on more of a leadership role and being able to help my team by playing every position on the defensive line as well as playing on the offensive line for the last three games was only getting me ready for my upcoming season. I am looking forward and excited to take on that challenge. I am looking for a program that will be a good fit for me academically as well as athletically. I believe I have the talent to compete for a college team and have the work-ethic and character to be an asset to your team.
