Cole Brown '15 Recruiting Profile

As a first year starting QB, I led my team to the State Championship game and earned Offensive MVP as well as made the All District team,  3rd team all Mid State, 1st team All-Area, Gateway Tire player of the year and the All State Team.  I have set a new school passing record (2,473) as well as had 686 rushing yards.  I set the record for most passing yards in a single game (360).  I am an athlete that can play multiple positions.  I played receiver my junior year and Quarterback this year after winning the spot in a tight competition.  I enjoy being the leader of my team and helping them become the first undefeated team in school history, and finishing 2nd in the state.  I am a teachable, hard working team player athlete.  I have been around football all of my life.  My dad played in college and 8 years for the Houston Oilers, he coached nine years in the SEC and is currently a coach for the Tennessee Titans.  Growing up in this environment has shown me first hand how much hard work and dedication it takes to become a successful collegiate athlete. 

I believe education is very important so I have always worked to maintain good grades.  I have taken many honors classes and maintained a good GPA.  Hard work starts in the classroom and I believe if you start there you can then take it to the football field.  I am well liked by my peers and am a great leader.
