Personal Statement

I am a 6'0” 192 pound, class of 2016 wide receiver/runningback from Chattanooga, TN.  I have started for Boyd-Buchanan High School for 2 years and have been nominated for the Times Free Press Player of the Week Honor Roll.  I have a 3.5 GPA and scored a 26 on my ACT.  I am also a member of the National Honors Society.  I play every down like it is my last and give everything that I have.  With me I bring my hard work and dedication to both academics and athletics.

I plan on using college as an outlet through which I can earn my degree and better my life.  I am looking for a college where I can stand out and excel both on and off the field as a student-athlete.  I am undecided in my college major, but I am thinking of a career path in Physical Therapy.  I am looking to join a program where I will be given an opportunity to earn my playing time based off of my hard work and dedication to the sport that I love.  I am filled with a deep, burning passion to not only be a successful college football player, but also an equally successful college graduate.
