Personal Statement
My name is Cameron Turner but my coaches, teammates, and friends all call me "Vegas". I was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, moved to Las Vegas, Nevada (where we lived for about nine years) and now live in Hendersonville, Tennessee. I have been extremely lucky to to have lived in so many different areas of this country while meeting people from all different walks of life.
After high school I plan to continue my adventure playing collegiate football while getting my degree. My overall goal in life is to serve my community, help people and make a positive difference.
Due to my work ethic and athletic ability I earned the opportunity to start as a running back/full back on the varsity team my sophomore and junior year. Now in my senior year I look to better myself, help lead my team and get back to the state championship. In addition, I hope my passion and love for football will allow me to continue throughout college and possibly beyond.
I am hardworking, dedicated, highly competitive, and driven both in the classroom and on the field. As an ambitious student and athlete I pride myself on being a team player, not being afraid of challenges and respecting others. I enjoy the process of bettering one's self through hard work and commitment. I always give 100% whether people are around or not. I promise to do my best to be an asset to my team and my school.
