Personal Statement
I am a 6'2" , 300 pound Junior defensive tackle at Christian Academy of Knoxville. Past achievements include selection to the Tennessee State All-Star Football team in both the 7th and 8th grades. In the 9th grade I played for the AAA State Champion Alcoa Tornadoes, being given some varsity playing time as a freshman. I currently play for the CAK warriors, where I transferred in 10th grade. I enjoy both the physicality of football, as well as the camaraderie and fellowship we have developed as a team. Although I definitely love to win, I also value the qualities of perseverance, discipline, dependability and integrity that playing football has helped to more fully develop in me. One of my life goals is to successfully complete a 4 year degree, majoring in exercise physiology or broadcasting/communications. Outside of football, I enjoy music, writing poetry, basketball, fishing and attending church with my family. I have been an active part of the Warrior Broadcasting Network while at CAK, most often providing color commentary. I would like to use my athletic abilities as a football player as a tool to help me achieve my academic goals. After football, I plan to pursue a career in either coaching, sports training or as a sports broadcaster. I am coachable and a team player and would love to have the chance to demonstrate the ways in which I could benefit a college football program.
