Kim Howell, Community Relations Director, The Courtyards Senior Living
Whoever is willing to have me on their team, will have a variety of positive traits. One of my strengths on and off the field is my leadership. Whenever the team's attitude is high or low, I'll never be a negative person, I always look for ways to encourage my teammates to give them confidence and belief in themselves to get the job done. My character is a big reason why I'm the player and man I am today. I know I'm not fastest...I know I'm not the strongest....but my heart, determination, and will to win has carried me a long way to defeat the gifted athletes that don't have enough desire to play the game. My goal by the end of my college career is to get a college degree and be remembered as a player who refused to give up no matter the situation and influence his team to have the heart of a champion not only in sports....but in life as well. If my teammates ask me "What drives you to compete so hard?" I will simply answer because Jesus Christ never gave up on me and he's the one who has given me my abilities....so why should I quit on him? Whatever school I go to is going to get a player who always gives 100%.
