Although I have played many sports growing up, football has always been my favorite. I appreciate that it is a team sport, and I pride myself on working hard to do my job while also helping others.
I am dedicated to being a student athlete and determined to succeed both in the classroom and on the field. In academics, I use my time wisely to study and prepare for each class. I attend a college prep academy and have always taken honors and/or AP classes, so the bar is much higher. I am working to achieve as high a GPA as possible while still taking very challenging classes.
In athletics, I apply the same discipline to improving my abilities. I work diligently during the season in practice, and off-season both in the weight room and in agility training. As a result I am a stronger, more accomplished athlete and am continuing to see better results all the time. I also was honored to be named All-District 10-AA and Most Valuable Defensive Lineman on the team my junior season.
My goal is to play football on the collegiate level at a school where I can get an excellent education and where I can make a difference for my team. I look forward to contributing in any way possible and will do my best to help the team succeed.
