Since I was seven years old and began playing football, I have always had a goal to reach the collegiate level. I work every day to improve my skills and put myself in the best position to achieve my goals. This work includes, but is not limited to, daily workouts, classroom preparation, and working with mentors and trainers. For example, I recently began working with Erik Ainge to study the mental part of the game at higher levels of play. My personal trainer is Dunstan Kendrick. He played at the collegiate level at Western Carolina and knows what it takes to be a great and well-rounded athlete. Although I play varsity football and basketball for my school, I am also very committed to my academics. I currently have a 4.0, and I plan to maintain a high GPA throughout high school and college. I am also serious about serving others in my local community; I earned my Eagle Scout rank in September 2014. My priority is God 1st, academics 2nd, and athletics 3rd. I am a team player and leader. My motto: Be a leader, not a follower, and don't let anyone outwork you.
