Personal Statement
I am a hard working, goal oriented person. I have set a goal to join a competitive college football program as a kicker and/or punter at a school that will also allow me to reach my educational goals. From making a game winning field goal to breaking down my kicks and punts to the finest details such as plant foot position, lean off angle, or follow through; becoming part of a college team will also allow me to keep doing what I love.
I had a challenge in my kicking development due to soccer. I played for the U.S. Soccer Federation Development Academy which prevented me from playing football my sophomore year. I have worked very hard on my kicking skills to get caught up. I am currently ranked #36 in the country as a kicker and #33 in the country as a punter for the class of 2015 by Kohl's Kicking. I am ranked #37 in the country by Chris Sailer Kicking and I have been invited to the Sailer "Event Elite" camp this summer. I have attended Kohl's kicking camps, Chris Sailer Kicking camp, Scott Blanton weekly training and Chris Boniol training.
I believe I am now among the best kickers in the country for the class of 2015. I hope to have the opportunity to demonstrate my abilities for your program and to personally meet your coaches to share more about my background and personal character.
