My desire at the next level is to attend a college where I can grow and nurture my science and/or math strengths so I can graduate in a field that is of interest and one that will allow me to be a positive contributor to society.
While doing this, I'd like to have the opportunity to play the sport I love. I have played multiple sports growing up, including select soccer. This has helped me with the agility needed for the multiple positions I've played - on both sides of the football. I consider myself to be a coachable player with a high IQ for the game and who can be an asset to the team.
From a personality perspective, I am an observer, listener, thinker and also reserved in demeanor. These qualities allow me to better understand people, handle stress, keep those around me calm and strategically execute plays in a game.
Overall, I feel that I'd be a positive contributor to the school that affords me the opportunity to become a part of their program. I would represent the school and team with pride and in a positive light. I would also plan to be a student first and keep my grades up so I can be available to participate in the sport I love. My years of playing sports, sometimes playing dual sports, along with taking advanced courses and also being employed, have all helped to prepare me to handle the strenuous collegiate schedule and be a solid student-athlete. I look forward to the opportunity of doing both.
