Paxton Segina '16 Recruiting Profile

I've been dreaming of playing college football since I started playing flag in Kindergarten. I can't imagine a college experience without playing football. My college goals are to graduate with a high GPA in finance and science. My number one goal is to earn a starting spot and do everything I can to help my team win a conference championship.  I work hard in everything that I do, I do my best to show up to every practice with a great attitude.

I believe what makes me different from other recruits is that my dad has been a college and professional player and he's taught me how to compete, work hard, never surrender, and commit to my teammates. Regarding academics, I work just as hard in the classroom as I do on the field. Grades are just as important to me as football is. I have been elected into National Honor Society and Spanish National Honor Society. Additionally I take my faith and service to community very seriously. I have been elected into PALS (Peer Assisted Leadership Service) and YMSL (Young Men's Service League).
