Personal Statement
Hello, my name is Josh Silvas. I am a cadet a New Mexico Military Institute. I am a freshman in junior college. I just finished my first season of college football and now I’m in offseason. At a point we were number 6 in the nation for our junior college team. We ended up playing in the Heart of Texas Bowl. This coming up season will be my 12th season playing football. I think it is a blessing and an honor to say that I have played for that long. I only wish to keep playing for as long as I possibly can. I know how hard it is to win a championship and how frustrating to lose a game. That is all worth a risk to keep playing again. I want to go to a school that can pay for my education but also a school that can take football as serious as I do. I extremely coachable athlete and I am open to any advice so I can improve on my technique. I know how class work is just as important as practice. That’s why I’m glad I came to this Institute to learn how to manage my time and be discipline when it comes to work. All I ask is for a little of your time and I will make it worthwhile. If you can please send me an e-mail or a call for any questions you may have. Confidently, I am not a person to be over looked. Thank you for your time.
