Personal Statement
Playing at the collegiate level takes hard work and commitment. I realized this when I started playing football at an early age and became determined then to play at the next level. I knew that it could change my life and give me opportunities that very few are given. Given these facts, I started working to better myself. Knowing that even though I wasn't the biggest or the fastest, I knew I could work hard to get bigger and faster to succeed over my competition. I am always working out, studying, and trying to strengthen my faith in order to better myself. I know that there is always room for improvement and I am willing to put forth the effort to get the results. If a coach tells me I need to work on something, I'll take his constructive criticism and do the work to the best of my ability. If I receive a low grade from a teacher on an assignment, I will push myself and strive to not make the same mistake, in order to maintain my high GPA.
It is of utmost importance that I attend a college where I can further my education, push myself both on and off the field, and benefit from what I have learned. The education I get from my teachers, coaches, and peers will lead me to be successful in the future.
