Personal Statement

My long term aspiration is to either go pro and play in the NFL or become a Mechanical Engineer. Football is my passion; however, I  also have a desire to design, develop, build, and test mechanical and thermal sensors and devices, including tools, engines, and machines.  I want to provide efficient solutions to the development of processes and products, ranging from small components designs to extremely large plant, machinery or vehicles.  I also hope to have a stable career after football.

I am interested in a school that challenges me mentally and physically.  I want to attend  a university  with a very competitive athletic program.   I am currently competing at a highly competitive high school and performing exceptionally.  The staff and coaches at  Flour Bluff Independent School District have challenged me mentally and physically. They have taught me the importance of commitment, leadership and success. I love football and I hope to one day have an opportunity to compete at a professional level.

What makes you a good candidate for their team?--

I am a team player,  I am coachable  and I have miles and miles of heart .   I am able to play multiple positions:  full back, running back,  tide end, defensive tackle, defensive end and line backer.  My favorite position to play is defensive end  I love to get to the quarterback as quickly as possible and doing anything and everything to disrupt him.   I like it, when I get to the backfield quickly and swat the football out of the quarterback's hands, causing a fumble.  I am fast and disruptive and I love to be at  backfield either tackling the running back or sacking the quarterback.

What makes  you different from other recruits in character, athletics and academics?--

I will commit myself to the academic and athletic program in the school.  I will be a leader in and out of the field.   I will complete all my school work so I can be academically successful. I will go to practice every day and challenge myself to be the best athlete I can be.
