Reece Railey '15 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Reece Railey and I'm a 6'-3" 225lb.senior defensive end at Deer Park High School in a tough 21-6A district. I was just voted Defensive Player of the Year for my 21-6A district for 2015. I'm also listed in the top 15 defensive players in the Houston area by the Texas High School Coaches Association. I was just voted academic all district for the 3rd straight year and Academic All State by the THSCA and US Marine Corps. I started varsity as a Sophomore as defensive end and on special teams. I was named to 2nd Team All District my Junior year and lead my team in total tackles, TFL, sacks and caused fumbles. I was on the weightlifting team my junior year and won 1st place in my first meet in my division with a 225 lb. lift in clean and jerk. I also hold the school record for the power clean at 343 lbs. (video is on my profile) and also threw the shot put for the JV team my Junior year.  My dream is to play football at the next level and I will continue to work hard in pursuit of this goal. I'm an honor student and was named to the National Honor Society my Junior and Senior year. I carry a 4.37 GPA, scored a 1380 on my SAT's and plan to degree in Kinesiology/Sports Medicine. I am a team leader and work extremely hard on and off the field. I feel I would be an asset to any system. I am very coachable and would love the opportunity to showcase my skills for you.
