My goals for college are to Major in Criminal Justice and use that to try and land a career working for Homeland Security. I also want to minor in Business with the aspiration to one day own my own business and be my own boss. I understand the difficulty of playing football at the collegiate level but it has always been my passion to play football. At the same time, I want to play football in college with the plan of using my athletic ability to assist my goal to acquire a higher education. I feel I am a good candidate because I am extremely dedicated and hard working. Since I am Hispanic and live on a border city has helped me become who I am, as my culture is deeply rooted in hard work and perseverance. These traits have helped me not only off the field, but also on the field as I truly believe in being a team player. I have always focused on playing on the offensive side of the ball and bring versatility. I have played Running Back and Slot Receiver, never complaining and always playing where I am needed. Adding on to versatility, I also played Strong and Free Safety when needed as well as Special Teams when needed. I have never been in trouble with the law and have always maintained high grades. My family has always taught me to stay away from trouble and to be humble. I truly believe in taking advantage of any opportunity that comes my way and never wasting any chance. In the end, all I ask for is a chance to prove all I have described.
