Personal Statement
I have been throwing a football since I was 2 years old and have always had the dream of playing college football and then playing in the NFL for the Green Bay Packers. My parents have always told me to work hard and fight for my dreams and someday they will come true. Never give up, and never accept defeat, win and lose gracefully. I have moved 4 times since I was 8 years old and this has made me a stronger and better athlete. Each time I moved I had to show the new coaches what I was made of and what I could do. This helped me to grow and develop as a person and an athlete. I love playing football, the game, the action, the fight, the drive, and most of all being a leader out on the field. I was asked once what I would say to a college coach if they questioned my height and the fact that I wasn't "that tall". My answer was simple; size and height are not everything, it's what you do with what you have and how you lead out on the field, execute and never give up that matters. Vince Lombardi said "It's not whether you get knocked down, it's whether you get back up."
