My name is Luis Baca, I am a 6'2 180 lb. 2017 Wide Receiver from Franklin High School in El Paso, Texas. Since entering Franklin I have made A/B Honor Roll and maintained a 3.6 GPA. As a Freshmen I racked up 900+ receiving yards and 12 TD's. As a Sophomore, I was moved up to start on Varsity at Corner Back and started 8 games and recorded 14 solo tackles. Junior year recorded 400+ receiving yards, and 6 TD's while starting on both Offense and Defense. Going into my Senior year I will be a 3 year starter on Defense and 2 year starter on Offense. On the field I have goals of becoming a better player for myself and the team and leading the team to a District Championship.
Off the field, I have goals of still having A's and B's and improving each day in classes. I plan to enter a university with Biology - Pre Dentistry and pursuit my dreams in becoming a Orthodontist. When it comes down to my final decision for picking a university to attend, it will be academics that will be the highest priority for me then athletics.
