Personal Statement

My ultimate goal is to be the best student athlete that I can be. My desire is to play college football and in pursuit of this goal, I recognize that I must achieve excellence in my high school academic and athletic performances. I am a stellar student with a passion for football and I pride myself on being a leader on and off the field.

Since my time of playing youth football, I have continued to train hard and show up in an explosive way for every game.  I want to see my high school team go to state and win and I will contribute to this goal. In doing so, I aspire to achieve selection to the All District First Team at the Defensive Back position in my remaining high school year and be the #1 Defensive Back locally, regionally, and nationally.

I will take every opportunity to better myself as a young player, including participating in Football University (FBU) and other camp/combine events. I am proud of my selection to FBU’s Top Gun football camp in 2014, where I earned MVP honors at Cornerback and was selected to be on the 2014 National Watch List, and for 2015. My goal is to continue to excel in the elite ranks and achieve success patterned after the likes of Patrick Peterson and Richard Sherman.

At the end of the day, I want to always make my dad, mom, and family proud of who I am and what I have and will accomplish.
