Personal Statement
My name is Jordan Bolton and I'm 6'2", weigh between 180-185 pounds, and run a 4.65 40 yard dash. I received all county and all district recognition while playing for the Friendswood Mustangs in Galveston County Texas (which is a suburb of Houston).
I may not be considered the fastest kid in the world, but I feel confident that I can offer a team a sure handed receiver while running really good routes. If you throw the ball my way I will catch it! I only had 2 drops all year while going up against several future Division I defensive backs. I would find a way to get open and catch the ball and when my number wasn't called, I turned my attention towards being a very good blocker. I believe blocking is essential to the success of any team. My high school team was a state semi-finalist in Texas 4A Division I.
I'm not necessarily looking to go to a big name division I school. However, I would like a shot at a Division 1-AA or Division I-AAA school because I feel like I can contribute at this level. I want to go into the nursing field once I get out of college. I honestly don't care about playing early but I just want to play college football and I will work my butt off and do whatever it takes to achieve this goal.
