Personal Statement
At the start of Kaleb's 7th grade year the football coach called to him in the hallway to make sure he would be on the football field that afternoon. At 13 he was already over 6' and his size for that age was a must. But through these last 6 six years, his hard work on and off the field is what defines him as a valuable player/student/human being. Member of our Districts ROTC program kept him in touch with his drive to go into the military one day. He is always first in line for any chance to help in our community. Just a few weeks ago our Varsity team showed up at a students house that is wheelchair bound, to tear down their existing porch and rebuild (with help from the dads) a porch with a ramp, because this young mans grandmother was physically lifting him and carrying him into their house. When Kaleb and his teammates heard about that, they just couldn't let it go, and they spoke up to the adults for help.
Kaleb participated in Blue Grey combine in Dallas last year and was asked back to Blue Greys Super Combine last April. Was a real honor to be asked to compete with such great athletes from across this country. To have some current NFL players there to coach him was an amazing experience.
Football, training, teammates, coaches, they've all played a major part in the young man he has become. He wants the opportunity to be on the football field, training through this next chapter of life.
Thank you for your time
