Personal Statement
Over the summer of my junior year I attended multiple camps and combines. Two of the biggest awards I received were: At the Texas Showcase, held at Rhodes Stadium, I was named MVP WR of the whole camp, which contained around 60-70 WR. I had also attended a camp held at Texas A&M and won best hands of the camp which contained at least 100-150 WR. Last year I was moved to TE which was a position I had never played in the past, yet I still made varsity. I am a very hard worker and when I set my mind to a task, there rarely are situations that will get in the way of achieving my goals. Players, Coaches and friends all look up to me as a leader in the classroom and especially on the field.
I am looking/hoping to be a part of a successful program, and earn my place on the team. If I have the opportunity to play football on your team, you will see how much of a well-rounded student-athlete I am. You will also get a person that is 110% committed to doing anything and everything that is necessary to become the best that I can be on and off the field. It has always been a dream of mine, since I first strapped up my helmet in first grade, to play football at the colligate level. I strive everyday through my academic endeavors, and athletic training, to fulfill this dream.
