Hello, my name is Rollie Tatum. I am currently a Senior in high school. My goals for this year are to get accepted into a great marine biology school that also has a great football team. I have always had a passion for football ever since my early years playing in peewee. Another hobby of mine is the ocean, and anything to do with it. If my sports careers do not work out, I want to Major in marine Biology, and help save the world most valued item, the ocean. I am a good candidate for your team because i have no off switch. I will put my heart and soul into everything I am doing, because if its worth doing, its worth being done right. I'm the full package, I have the heart, the effort, and not just the bronze but the brains also. In school right now i am taking Dual Credit classes, I have DC speech, DC history, DC psychology along with several other classes. I moved at the beginning of my sophomore year to GP to get to a bigger better school to practice and play some of the bigger 5A schools. Ive been a starter on varsity ever since my family and I moved down here. I am currently #31, starting varsity defensive end, I am also the punter. I average 41.3 yards net. My awards have been first team all state honorable mention, First Team All - South Texas, second team All-South Texas First Team All-District, Most valuable Defensive lineman in district 30-5A and first team Academic Excellence three years in row. On offense I am starting tight end. A tight end is usually only brought in on short distances here at GP, so Im mostly used for blocking but I have an excellent set of hands. I recently made the varsity soccer team, so i am steadily working on my footing and agility. I am the biggest guy on the team so when we play other teams they all know who i am and they all stay out of the way. When coaches ask me what position I play, I tell them "ATHLETE". Any position you put me at I can adapt and change my habits to be the best that I can be at that position.
