Personal Statement
Playing college football has been a dream of mine since I was a little kid watching from the stands. I will be attending college to pursue my ambition of playing football but most importantly going to college to find a career path I enjoy. I hope to explore the multitude of colleges available to me regardless of their size. While I would like to attend a college with a tradition, I wouldn't mind being part of growing or starting a tradition either.
I've been playing football since I was 6 years old. I've always played Quarterback until this year. This year the coaches asked me to play a different position due to my size. At first I was taken back, but then I realized I really love the game and didn't really care where I played as long as I could contribute to the team and help us win state. The transition has been tough as far as the technique goes but I'm learning more and more daily and getting better. I have also signed up to work with a specialist to help bring me up to speed faster so I can give it my best. I feel I would make a good college player not only due to my size, strength and speed but also because I'm an unselfish player that will put God, Team and Academics at the utmost top priority. Additionally, I feel football provides a good structure and environment for me to be a successful college student.
As a college student I hope to maintain a grade point average of 3.5 and graduate with a Masters Degree in Business.
