I am Tyler Rosamond, senior Running Back for Sulphur Spring High School. I was moved from my Linebacker position to Running Back during my junior year. I run down hill, have great hands and understand the value of good blocking. Over the past year and a half, I have grown into my new position and look forward to carrying that to the next level. This season (Senior Year), I was set to have a great year. I suffered an injury that sidelined me and diminished my play time for three games. However, I am a competitor and I fought my way back, finishing the year strong. We managed to make the playoffs, where I shouldered the bulk of the rushing attempts in our final game against the #5 team in Class 5-A. I finished this season with 861yds rushing and 11 TDs, averaging over 5yds per carry. I was just named Honorable Mention in District 15-5A.
My goal is to find a home with a competitive team where I can benefit the overall program while obtaining my education. I know that my moral standards and respect will benefit any team that I am blessed to play with and I know I can expect to learn from coaches and players at the collegiate level. I am prepared to make this transition and look forward to visiting with you.
