My name is Christopher Bell and I am currently a junior at The Woodlands High School, which is a 5A school located in The Woodlands, TX. I was a starting wide receiver during the 2013 -2014 season on the varsity football team. I had 14 receptions for 281 yards. I had a long reception of 67 yards and 1 TD on the season. We had an excellent season as a team and ended our season in first place in our district (14-5A). We won 2 playoff games to win the area but were defeated by Allen High School in the regional playoff game. I personally had a good season and my varsity highlight video can be viewed on HUDL. My goal is to continue to improve my skill development as I progress. I participated in the 2014 Nike Football Combine Houston and received a certified SPARQ rating of 91.41.
In addition to football I am a member of the varsity track team. The events I currently participate in are the 100m, 4x100m relay and 200m. The team is currently preparing to participate in the district tournament. I will participate on the Woodlands varsity 7 on 7 football team this summer.
Attaining a quality education is my long-term goal so being a good student is very important to me. I have not decided on a major in college but I realize that education is the key. Playing football at the college level and hopefully even in the NFL is a goal of mine so I plan to work very hard at becoming the best football player I can be. However I recognize that a quality education is what I really need to achieve long-term success.
