Personal Statement

My name is Justin Young from McGregor, TX. I am currently the JV Kicker at Midway High School in Waco, TX (Hewitt) I started playing football with Pop Warner at 5 years old.  I have played different positions and really enjoyed middle linebacker but kicking is where my heart is. I consider myself a soccer style kicker and also competed in HOT Soccer starting at the age of 6. 

I attended KICKNATION camp at Baylor this past July and also attended strength and conditioning camp at Midway all summer. I am dedicated.

As a student, I work hard and I currently have a 3.5 GPA. I am planning to take the ACT and SAT in December. I have completed all foreign language requirements, I am in Accounting 2 and I am also taking Physics and Construction Technology this year. I am interested in pursuing a degree in Engineering. 

Every champion was once a contender that refused to lose.
