Personal Statement

My work ethic & drive for success is apparent in my preparation and performance both academically or athletically. My primary goals are to excel and win on the field and in the class room.  I will lead by example both athletically and academically. I constantly challenge myself by taking AP courses, attending athletic camps/combines to learn and improve. I believe character matters and how you contribute to a team and represent your faith, family, school, and team matters.

I made many positive contributions to my team & school through fundraising, spirit, and participation in extracurricular activities beyond football and track. I can accept constructive criticism & rapidly build upon it to improve my game at any time.  I appreciate and respect any opportunity I receive to compete and play.  Ultimately, when joining a team, I will bring a positive vibe with the absence of negativity.

Training

  • Fitness Training program focusing on: Strength, Power, Agility, and Quickness, Sprinting technique & form, endurance,
  • 2 years
  • Personal trainer, meet 2 to 3 times per week. We focus on drills to improve my strength, power, agility, quickness, and conditioning. I have increased my 100 and 200 meter times. Working on balance and coordination, and field awareness.
  • Rider High School Weight Training
  • 3 years
  • Started weight training after my 7th grade summer at the high school. Improved my conditioning and strength. At high school level, beginning see large but managed performance jumps in strength and conditioning.
  • Studying - Academic Training
  • 5 years
  • I know this probably does not belong here. Because I study academics with mom during the summer and school, I have been prepared for each school term. I think this has contributed to me being able to apply time to improve in my sports and have time for my hobbies without stressing too much. We started this routine before I started kindergarten. I am not saying this is my favorite training, but I do see the benefits and appreciate it.
