Robert Ercanbrack '14 Recruiting Profile

I play three sports at Sky View High School: football, basketball, and baseball. Football is definitely my favorite and I’m excited to be starting varsity linebacker this year. My sophomore GPA was 3.898. I am determined to maintain this or better my junior year and graduate with a 4.0. It would be a great honor to be named Academic All-State as well as an All-American player. One of my dreams is to be good enough to play in the Under Armour All-American game after high school. I've watched it for several years now and have always loved the talent and enthusiasm of the players they select. When I’m 19 years old I am going serve a two-year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I have set the goal to play a college sport when I return. I have always wanted to be a Division I athlete, but I am willing to start by playing at a junior college or consider Division II and III opportunities. My college academic goal is to get a degree in physical therapy. I like the medical field because I received a shoulder injury as a freshman that required surgery and physical therapy. The doctors who took care of me were a great influence in helping me become stronger and ready to play again. I want to have an education and career to be able to have that same effect on people especially athletes. After college I have a dream of playing for a professional team. I know I will have to work hard to strengthen my talent and be recognized in the NFL draft. I also dream about opportunities in basketball or baseball. Eventually I want to be married and raise a family.
