Personal Statement
I have always been motivated by personal excellence and have a strong and dependable work ethic. I'm coachable and always willing to do what is needed for my team. I set lofty goals for myself and then set out to achieve them. I always give my 100% effort both on and off the field and strive to exceed expectations. I weight train and speed train regularly. I also work outside of team practices to practice routes, timing and plays that bring value to my team on both sides of the ball. I’m a Sprinter on my high school track team. I also run on a club track team, coached by Sean Maye who was a gold medalist for Team USA. I run track to improve my speed, strength and flexibility. I firmly believe that good character is critical for success. I have dealt with adversity in my life and have come out stronger as a result.
I plan on majoring in physics. I’ve taken AP Calculus, AP Physics, AP Statistics, and AP Photography. I have achieved Academic All-Region in both Football and Track, all four years of high school. I’m self-motivated to do well academically and initiate study on my own. I believe my academic accomplishments enhance my athletic endeavors.
It has been my goal for as long as I can remember to play college football. I will bring speed, strong skills, unwavering work ethic, and commitment to teamwork along with sound academics to your team. Given the chance, I know I will succeed at any level and at any position that I'm needed whether its offense or defense.
