My dream ever since I could hold a football was to play in the NFL. Growing up i realized it was more than just a game. I realized someday if put in the work i could go to college for free, I could get a good job and pay for my mom, I could use football to get away from everything else. Going into Freshman year i was 160 and ran a 5 flat forty. After my freshman season i stayed in the weight room and bumped my weight to 170 and dropped my forty to a 4.8. I started varsity as a sophomore. My coaches told me if i wanted to have a dominant junior season i would have to gain weight and get faster. I ran track and had a lifting class that i got to lift in everyday. Besides just lifting in class I would lift after track practice three days a week. Over 6 months of running track and lifting i bumped my bench up 50 pounds to 225 and my forty from a 4.8 to a 4.59. I will be willing to work at anything a coach thinks are my weaknesses. I am very coachable and love to improve my game. My brother played college football which makes me feel like I have an idea of what it would be like. I put in the extra hours to separate myself from the rest. I'd do anything to help my team win. Whether it's having 200+ yards or blocking my butt off to get runs past the second level. The team comes before me and my personal stats.
