Sawyer Price '16 Recruiting Profile

My name Sawyer Price and I am currently a Senior at Liberty High School in Bealeton, Virginia. This year, I am starting on offense, defense and special teams - and a backup player for many other positions. Last year the Liberty Eagles finished their season in the State Championship Semi-Finals and I am proud to have had the opportunity to played at this level. I have always loved football. I started to play at five years old and still enjoy playing football above any other sport. Aside from the stats listed here, I also have a 100" reach which helps greatly in swatting and catching passes. One of my goals is to go to college and succeed in education as well as athletics. My hope is that my love of playing sports will extend an opportunity for me to further my education and gain additional life experiences. I strive provide a good example both on an off the field. My coaches have always commended me on my integrity and work ethic, and my ability to motivate other players.
Before High School, I played in the local youth football league learning from different coaches and players as each year we went to the Championship game. I've also attended various football camps provided by former Professional players who helped provide realistic expectations as well as tips on improving my game. I also played baseball and wrestled early on.
Off the field, I work to help my family out and help take care of my brothers - who think of me as a large toy.
