Personal Statement

My name is Noah Moore, and I am currently a 5'8" freshman placekicker for Trinity International University, located in Deerfield, IL. This season, I was fortunate enough to earn playing time and kick PAT's and FG's for the Trojans. On field goals, I was 4/4 with a season long of 31 yards, and was 24/31 on PAT's. Academically, my first-semester grade point average at Trinity was 3.08 weighted (3.2 unweighted) in 15 credits of coursework.

I attended and played two years varsity at Matoaca High School in Chesterfield, VA. In high school, I graduated with a 4.44 GPA and ranked 17 in a senior class of 470. Hardwork and a willingness to never give up are two of my most important characteristics as an athlete and person. During the summer of 2011, I attended Ray Guy's Prokicker Kicking Camp in Bethlehem, Philadelphia, and earned most accurate kicker honors in a field goal competition.

Coming from a strong family Christian background, I would like to attend a school that not only has a great academic core but also values high moral standards as well. I hope to be a part of an athletic environment where I can make an immediate impact on the team. Financial aid is of importance but is not limited to in determining the right college during the selection process. I am also willing to travel to farther schools with less out of pocket expense.  As a major, I am undeclared, but  am interested in the Mass Communications/ Journalism major.
