Personal Statement
Always competitive, I set a long term goal to play college football after I attended my first college game at age eight. I can play a variety of positions but my size, speed and passing accuracy has led to my success as a quarterback, even under the most intense pressure. To improve my game, I joined a gym, researched the best training programs, and went to several quarterback camps each year to learn about the position from different perspectives. My year around commitment to improving my game has helped me build strong, accurate passes and speed. I always work hard during the regular season but I know it's important to work even harder in the off season. I do something every day to improve my skills including run, lift, watch film, and/or throw. Also, I play on Christchurch's varsity lacrosse team which won our division's 2011 state title. I know as a quarterback and team leader, I have an obligation to my team to be at my best everyday, every play, in every game. My teammates know they can always count on me. That, and my desire to lead a winning team is what motivates me to continue to improve myself. I am interested in a college team that wants someone like me who is a smart, self motivated, hard worker who is committed to do what it takes to win games.
