Personal Statement

For the 2014/15 school year, I am a senior at Potomac Senior High School in Dumfries, VA and play the position of quarterback on the varsity team.  I also played the position of quarterback as a junior at Potomac and as a freshman and sophomore at Leilehua High School in Wahiawa, HI.  At Leilehua, I played on the junior varsity team as a freshman and the junior varsity and varsity teams as a sophomore.  I take school seriously and I am interested in getting the best education possible.  My overall grade point average is currently 3.787 (unweighted).  I am enrolled in the Cambridge Program at my school where I take dual credit classes (credit for high school and credit for college) that are taught on a college level.  After graduating from high school, I plan to attend a four year college and major in business and minor in Psychology or criminal justice. I desire to to play college football and I'm interested in a college that offers a strong program that matches my academic interest.   I am a focused and disciplined student in the classroom and on the football field where I give 110% effort in both areas.  I have played football since I was 4 years old and enjoy the competitiveness, leadership and team spirit the sport offers.  With this said, I am interested in a college that will provide me with the best education, prepare me for the working world, and allow me to play football.
