Personal Statement
My name is Jamal Waheed, I'm currently a Sophomore at Phoebus High School in Hampton, Virginia. I grew up mainly around sports having family members who played sports and began to get interested. I thought that when i stepped up to the next level of high school football that i would be nervous. I can't lie I was nervous, but just a little. When my coaches told me that I was one of the Captains on the team I was proud of myself, but I had to realize the responsibilities of being a captain. I was a team leader that has to show example and leadership skills. I would be honored to become a recruit of any college who is willing to take their time out to come see me.
