Peyton Johnson '18 Recruiting Profile

I am a senior playing center and Defensive Tackle.  Last year, I was chosen as first team offensive tackle and second team defensive tackle in the Black Diamond District. I was also chosen for second team offensive tackle and honorable mention defensive tackle for the Crooked Road Conference. I am very passionate about playing football. I played in my first game at the age of seven, and I have had a love of the game ever since. I am a junior and currently starting as left tackle and defensive tackle for the Honaker Tigers in Honaker, VA.  My team finished first in the Black Diamond District in 2015.    I was chosen for first team center for my district.  When I'm not at practice, I'm in the weight room. I also maintain a 4.0 gpa. I am an active member of the Beta Club, Spanish Club, FBLA, and The Fellowship of Christian Students. I strive to be a role model to others through hard work, perseverance, and determination. My dream is to play college football while earning my bachelor's degree. In order to achieve this dream, I have dedicated myself to getting smarter, stronger, and faster with each passing day. I would make a valuable asset to a college level team because I am not only a leader, but also a team player who has a strong work ethic.
