Football isn't just a game to me, as cliche as that sounds, it is the absolute truth. Football has become a lifestyle for me inside and outside of school. I could not see myself being in college and not being on the field. I am different from other recruits in many ways. Not only do I play football, but I am active in other activities outside of school as well. I am a Mime Dancer at my church, and I am also a Youth Ambassador at my church as well. I like many different things such as art, music, dance, etc. Football has helped my leadership skills greatly in the years I have been playing, by teaching me the power a person can have if people look up and listen to you. I've been told the little kids on my street look up to me as an athlete and a person because of my character. Those things play a role in the person that I am today. Keeping my grades up is a number one priority no matter what season it is. I keep my GPA above a 3.5 because that is the goal I have set for myself. In doing so, it creates another competitive environment for myself. Competition is what drives me to give 100% effort all the time.
