Tyler Powell '14 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6'3" 225 lb. sophmore defensive end/linebacker from Midlothian, VA. I have played football since the first grade. I have a 3.8 GPA. I played a full season of JV football and 2 games on the varsity team my freshman year. As a sophmore, I started seven games and ended up being named to first team all-district as well as Honorable Mention all-region and all-metro.

I have started this recruiting process early in hopes to have an outstanding football career at a Division 1 NCAA school. I am interested in any school, but would prefer a school on the east coast so as to stay relatively close to home. I have been put on the Schuman Combine All-American Watchlist as well as the top recruits watchlist as a freshman. As a sophmore I was invited to the VTO elite 100 combine in Richmond. I am interested in playing football in college and I hope to make it even higher in my career.
