When colleges consider athletes, they should look at me different from all other potential candidates. I am an athlete who not only values learning on the field and in education, but also learning in life itself.
As I see it, if one can learn something every day, they will not only be better for it but they can use their knowledge to help guide others. What I want colleges to see is an athlete who not only wants to be dedicated to their program but also is dedicated to help making a change not only just in athletics, but in the school environment all together.
The term student-athlete isn't just a job to me. It is a way of life, because I know when I step on the campus of the college of my choice, I am already learning.
