Hello. My name is Garrett Dunn-Ford and I am a hard working and unique student-athlete. I am constantly thinking of ways to get better on and off the field. The little things are what matter to me because all those little things combine into the bigger picture. I would like to be a personal and physical trainer, along with being a coach someday. I've been studying the game and drawing up plays since I was about 8 years old. I am quick and aggressive off the snap and fight to get to the ball. I received 1st team all conference last year and 2nd team all district this year. I am very eager to learn new techniques and ways to strengthen my game for myself and my team. No matter how good I do I always remind myself that there is always somebody better, and I feel that is what keeps me humble and is the reason why I work so hard to get where I am. I don't model my game after one specific player because everybody has strengths and weaknesses. I try to incorporate the strengths from several model players and incorporate it into my game. I have aspirations of being a coach later in life because I want to teach the younger generations the ins and outs of football and competitive sports in general. This is a reason why I am in the FELT (Freedom Eagles Leadership Team) program at my school. The FELT program is a group of teacher nominated students who plan events and help other students feel more comfortable in our school.
I am a hard working student-athlete with a passion for helpings others and a dream of playing at the next level.
