My name is Dylan Anderson and I am an upcoming senior at George Wythe High School in Wytheville, VA. I have always dreamed of playing football at the college level and eventually moving into the NFL. I have played football since I was in the third grade, so I have 9 years of experience in being part of a team. I always strive to work hard for the good of the team and for myself. Football is definitely my passion but I also play baseball and I have played it for 9years as well. I play first and third bases and also have experience as hind catcher.
I am a dependable, responsible and trustworthy athlete. I will work hard to get ahead in sports and in my academics. I have received several awards since joining the varsity football team at George Wythe and they are as follows:
As a sophomore, I was named to the All Hogoheegee District football team on first team offense and first team defense as a lineman. Also, as a sophomore I was named to the 2014 All Mountain West Conference 46 football team as a lineman on first team defense. I was also named to the 2014 Group 1A All State football team on second team defense.
As a junior, I was again named to the 2015 All Hogoheegee District football team as a lineman on first team offense and first team defense. I was named to the 2015 Mountain West Conference 46 football team as a lineman on first team offense and first team defense again. The Virginia High School League named me to the first team on the 2015 Group 1A All State football team as a defensive lineman.
