Personal Statement
I love football. It's my favorite thing in the whole world that's why I work so hard to strive at being the best I can be. I have played football since kindergarten. I played AYFL for 9 years before going to Stone Bridge High School. As a sophomore I changed positions to defensive line, and I started 9 games. As a rising junior I was nominated captain and helped lead my team to the state championship game for the second year in a row. I am extremely blessed and honored to lead such a great program this season. In my career I have 12 defensive lineman of the week plaques. My junior year I was was awarded defensive lineman of the year trophy. I believe in working extremely hard. I have a passion for lifting weights and getting better every day.
I have played many sports throughout my childhood some are soccer, lacrosse, and hockey. Doing these sports helped me to develop into the player I am today.
One thing that I love is helping people. In middle school I spent one week of the summer at Pittsburgh helping people in need. Now I go to D.C. and feed the homeless with my church. Every Thanksgiving morning I help to set up a 10K race to help raise money for kids in Uganda.
