Josh Collins '14 Recruiting Profile

     Hello my name is Josh Collins. I am very interested in pursuing a college career in football and I would be very interested in any college who gives me the opportunity of a lifetime to be able to play at the college level. I am a senior now and would like to share my football career with you. I was moved up to varsity my freshman year after 5 games into my JV season to play as a runningback and a linebacker. I am a quick learner especially when a coach is teaching me something. I am a very hard worker and strongly believe in the weight room. I run the 40 yard dash in 4.6 seconds and it is still decreasing. I am looking for a school where I can be comfortable and will allow me to have the priviledge of playing football. I am a team player, and believe Football is about the team and not about the individual, after all it is a "team" sport". I am a Christian and a Pastor's son. My family is a church planting missionary family, and I am very active in my youth group. My plan is to play at a college where I can pursue my chosen major. I will work as hard as I can to get to achieve that goal, because it is my dream to play college football while I pursue a good education. I am extremely grateful for any chance I get. I am considering going into Aviation or Criminal Justice as my major and then possibly to grad school. I would love to have the opportunity to shape my future and play the game I have loved all my life. Thank you for your time.
