2013 HighlightsPersonal Statement
My name is Connor Christian. I am the starting right tackle for Buckingham County High School Varsity Football Team. Our team was very successful last year as we made it to the state semi-finals. Along with my team's success, I was named to the Honorable Mention team for my conference. My goal is to become the best football player I can. Academics are extremely important to me. I would like to major in kinesiology to become a strength and conditioning coach. My GPA is currently over a 4.0 and I am a member of BETA, NHS, FCA, and SCA.
My objective is to honor my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, my family, and my team on and off the field. I am extremely coachable. I will practice until I get a new concept or drill perfect. I never say, "quit". I never give up. One of my most important goals is to be a great teammate in every aspect. I am prepared to do whatever my coach and team need to make my team successful.
Currently, I workout with the strength and conditioning coach from Longwood University several times a week. I know that to compete at the collegiate level in football and in the classroom takes disciple, drive, responsibility and hard work. I would be honored with the opportunity to give you the commitment it requires to be a successful college football player and student.
