Personal Statement
My name is Kurt and I wanted to play football ever since I was little boy; When I was born, the doctor told my mom that he had never seen a baby born with a body of a football player before. Every year during a visit, my pediatrician would ask me when I was going to become a football player, because she predicted that I would be 6'5" and built; I am 6'3" so far and weigh 280 pounds. I play in my school's varsity football team, as a as a starter playing the position of offensive tackle. During the summer at a CharlesMann football camp, I received the best offensive tackle award amongst all the camp participants by Charles Mann. This year at the end of the football season, I was honored with the Most Improved Player award; the only junior to receive an award generally given to seniors. My passion is to play football at a school that offers an elite football program. My ultimate goal is to play football at a professional level. Athletically, I am physically built and strong and feel I would be a great addition to your offensive line team. At your institution, I would like to study criminal justice at the undergraduate level. I am hard working, loyal, devoted and a true team player. I worked very hard during 9th and 10th grades in order to prove to our coaches that I have what it takes in order to be selected as a starter for the varsity team in grade 11.In the beginning of the year, at the request of my coach, I was also a starter for the JV team because of my size and skills, playing two games per week and practicing longer hours. I enjoy every aspect of the sport and look forward to show you my capabilities in order to be selected by your institution. I look forward to meeting you.
