Personal Statement

I am a 5’10 kicker from Pulaski County High School with a current GPA of 3.889. My football career started my sophomore year as the starting varsity kicker.

My parents, along with the Pulaski County High School special teams coach, encouraged and challenged me to kick because of my soccer background.

As a high school soccer player, I earned 2nd team all conference as a freshman varsity player, and 1st team all conference as a sophomore varsity player. I was fortunate enough to have our hometown football hero, former NFL kicker Shayne Graham, access my first attempts of football kicking. He gave me my first formal kicking lesson, that is were my passion for kicking started to grow.

I would love to play football at my highest possible level.  My ideal university would have a strong emphasis in the academics with engineering or accounting degrees along with a strong football program.  I am interested in any size school east of the Mississippi River.  I believe my calm, patient, and hard working demeanor will be an asset to a college football program.

  • Ryan is an excellent high school kicking prospect. A great looking athlete with a live leg. Shows he can hit a very nice ball on field goal off the ground. He hits a pure ball and has college range. Kickoffs are coming along nicely. He drives the ball deep with solid hang time. This is where he needs to hit that next level to move even further up the rankings. The potential is there. A competitor that does very well under pressure. Ryan has all the tools to take his game to the next level. I look forward to a big 2018 off season with him. He should have a great showing at Vegas XXXII in May. Strong prospect.
