Personal Statement
A dual sport athlete for 4 years at Dawson Christian Academy where I competed at a high level in both Football and Basketball. In addition to being an athlete, I have been a leader by example within my school participating in Drama, Numerous charitable and civic volunteer efforts as well acting as a mentor to our younger students.
Football- A three year varsity starter playing Offensive Guard, Tackle, Tight End, Long Snapper, Center as well as playing all defensive interior positions as well as defensive end. I was selected All Region, All State(Elected Team Captain for the winning White Team) and was selected to the Blue Grey All American team where I competed at the Jacksonville Jaguars Stadium and on ESPN for the winning Grey team. I am looking forward to playing a post graduate year this fall for Coach John Shuman at Fork Union Military Academy and increase my collegiate football opportunities.
Basketball- A varsity Starter for 3 years at Dawsonville Christian Academy playing a National elite schedule. I was 1,000 point/1,000 rebound performer during my time at DCA and was fortunate to have my Jersey retired at my High School in recognition of both by on field and off field contributions to our school. I was selected All Region, All State and selected to numerous all tournament teams over my high school career and over my3 years as a starter I averaged a Double/Double for scoring and rebounds while shooting a career 73% from the field. Our High school, with less than 100 total students, was ranked 10th in the state for all Classes of Georgia High School teams and in the top 500 Nationally by Max Preps. In Addition to High School basketball, I played and started for 3 years in AAU for the JC Ballers playing a National Schedule and being recognized as a top performer by Big Shots National Recruiting coordinator Greg White.
I look forward to playing football at the next collegiate level and representing my school, coaches, parents and alumni in the same manner I have in High School.
