Sam Allen '15 Recruiting Profile

I am NCAA qualified. I graduated from Fork Union Military Academy, Virginia, as a Distinguished Academic Graduate. At the same time, I excelled as the varsity starting QB (taking over after Christian Hackenberg). I also led the varsity basketball team as team captain to the State Finals in 2014. I am a dual threat QB with proven success playing in a spread offense. I was recruited and committed to play this fall at Victor Valley Junior College in California for several reasons. First, I lost my senior season to Mono and wanted another season of experience to prepare for a top D1 opportunity. While recruited by over a dozen junior colleges in California (and visiting several of these schools last spring) I chose Victor Valley because of Head Coach Dave Hoover. Coach Hoover currently has the state's longest running win record and years of experience at the D1 level working with QB's. I was convinced Coach Hoover could help prepare me for the next level. Thus far into this season, as starting Freshman QB, I have led my team to 5-0 wins. My personal stats are: leading in rushing yards, rushing touchdowns, total yards, and total touchdowns. I am determined to play at the highest level of Division 1 football. Given the opportunity, I am confident I can quickly prove myself and earn the starting job as quarterback. Meantime I plan to continue leading Victor Valley to a conference championship and JUCCO bowl win.
